We have been working with Growing Together providing tactical and strategic marketing support since the company started from helping them to define their brand values and proposition to more hands-on support with proofing content and doing SEO audits. We wanted to take a bit of time to explore some of the ways in which we’ve support them.
Developing their brand
We ran a series of workshops between us, their company directors and a creative freelancer where we explored who they wanted to be and what brands inspired them. The aim of the first workshop was to better understand what they wanted their brand values to be, and we started to form their mission, vision and overarching brand proposition.
In the second workshop we used this insight to come up with ideas for a company name that the freelance creative then pulled into concepts for them to review. We explored language they like and disliked and what competitors or norms existed in the sector.
In the third session we went back to our audience needs that we started to develop during the brand proposition section of the first workshop and focused on defining products for launch and areas for future development. We helped them to decide on priorities for the first wave of products.
Support with website creation, copy writing and optimising content
Following, the third workshop we were able to start writing content for the website. We supported by providing them with a site hierarchy and structure and from there we did keyword research, supported with copy writing and loading everything onto their new website. We also set up Google Analytics for them and created them some analytic dashboards to get them going.
We have continued to support with the site SEO over the last few years, providing SEO audits, upskilling the team, and identifying keyword gaps and opportunities for new content and products. We also proof content on occasions and provide support on an adhoc basis.
